Ramu (Nursery) comes from Sattenapalli, Guntur district. His father committed suicide after a crop failure led him into a debt trap. His mother has since become mentally unstable. Ramu was being taken care of by his grandparents until recently. Unable to support him adequately, the grandmother brought him to the orphanage.
Ramu has never been to school before therefore, he is starting from scratch. He is attending Nursery classes.
